(1) Contract: Maintenance of a Web site begins when a contract for twelve months of service is signed by the client.

A minimum of 30 minutes will be spent each month checking links, backing up the site and its database, updating software and plugins, checking search engine optimization, monitoring any hacking attempts, and checking the SSL certificate for site security. The contract also includes annual installation of the SSL certificate, although the cost of the certificate itself is the client's responsibility.

The fee for a year is $192.

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time in writing.

(2) Checkup Plan: Blackbird Studio can check your site once a year for WordPress and plugin updates, site backups, compatible software on the server, and installation of the SSL certificate (plus reimbursable cost of the certificate). The site will be evaluated at no charge, and a work order will be agreed upon by both parties before work begins. The cost will depend on the scope of the work.
